Before I begin on the main topic of this blog, I shall breeze you all through what happened so far...

Secondary 3 Camp @ MOE Changi Coast

Alright the location was pretty alright, I think the downside for many was the location, as almost every 10 minutes there would be planes flying super low past us and all the people will just stare into the air. BUT HEY, talking about planes, I LOVE THEM. So of course I did not find it distracting at all.

Our group was called "Dionysus" (Pronounciation: Die-or-ni-ses). As a 2nd Group IC, I was given the lead...to lead the group. So what me and Cassandra (first IC) did was, we decided to do a dance and a skit, we did bandanas for our group (when the rest saw it they copied), we are the only group who stepped out of the "Greek God" theme to call out group DINO. So ofcourse our mascot is......barney is a dinosaur blahhhhh...

Overall, I am SUPER PROUD of my team mates for bearing my tantrums and making them practice the dance every possible free time - after meals, in between elements, before bathe etc etc. In the end we got a remarkable 2nd place for the camp fire and 4th place for overall..K I know its not that AMAZING but on the first day all of us were super strangers la.

Asian Aerospace 2006

Arghh I just came back from it yesterday lah, and let me tell you it was SUPER SUPER tiring yet fun.

Aerospace lovers - thats Me, Halimah, Kelvin and Julius are! We were kind of late and almost missed the airshow. But we managed to catch the last part, that was the display of the main highlight of the show, the AIRBUSA380.

It is taking off!!

These are 1:20 real life models of the A380. Each of these model planes ARE SPECIFICALLY DESIGNED. You can even see the light inside the cockpit and "exit" word on the doors.

 

The model of the A380 Frieghter (which means cargo..)

 

What you see is the A345 Model at the AA2006 and the Singapore Airlines A345 which was released last year as the world's longest distance plane in real-life picture. Don't they look alike? What you see is what you get.

Well we continued walking and walking, we waled past brands such as Rolls Royce (The turbine engine used for the A380), Bombardier (design sets for inside the plane), Luthansa and Air Nea Zealand Mechanics...etc etc, and by the world, apparently all of us only like private jets and commercial airlines, so fighter planes can just kiss my ass and say good bye.

After what seems like a 2.4 km walk, we finally reached Airbus's biggest rival - BOEING. The planes were all so chio! Some even seem more chio then the Airbus's A380.

 

This is the Boeing 787 Dreamliner. This is said to reduce emission and is made up of environmental-friendly materials. Not only that, less fuel is needed and there would be LESSER SOUND! This place is super hot man. Notice the wing? The latest series of the new Boeing planes are CURVED UP.

 

This is the newest latest modification to 20th's Century most popular plane - the B747. The current model you see airlines using is the B747-400. But what you see in this picture is B747-800, the hottest plane in the whole airshow (sorry A380, I still love you very much). It has that curved wing I talked about just now and it also has more upper deck seats, lesser fuel usage.

And it was time to see the HIGHLIGHT OF THE SHOW, we waited in the queue for long 30minutes for a bus ride for the "large aircraft display" section. There was of course THE A380, there were other planes there la.

 

The freaking freaking long queue. We took turns stand in the queue. Halimah and I would stand for 10mins while Kelvin and Julius goes into the shade. That picture - "when will this queue ever end?"

So these are the LOADS of brochures I "coup" from the aerosace exhibition. SO MANY RIGHT? and they were super heavy. We left the place at about 6. Kelvin went for work and me halimah and julius went to watch the movie "Rumour has it". Was a so-so movie la...

The story was about Jennifer Aniston's character in the show and she, her mother, her grandmother all fucked the same ah pek and their story was changed into a book and movie with names oso changed hence rumour.

Other than Mr. Raja asking our class to stay back for SILENT reading even though it was the class beside us fault, other than Ms. Lim confiscating my M&M and not throwing them away but yet allow the other boys to drink finish their BOTTLE SWEET DRINK outside class quickly, other than Mr. Lam keep scolding me for not asking him to sign the class diary when I already put it on the class desk - I HAVE NO OTHER WHINES (I believe this paragraph is innocent enough before I kenna caught by MOE).

I am so freaking excited for this TUESDAY! It is Valentine's day! But gosh lah, I still have not buy the gifts for my jie jie (archana), my jie jie's jie jie (halimah), my jie jie's distant relative (nadzirah). I wish it was like Primary school hat we just go school bookshop ask auntie wrap the PILOT G2 up.

I CAN'T WAIT TO HANG OUT WITH MY VALENTINE LAH. Hope she feels the same way or else its like kind of WASTED. Actually want go Night safari den remember GOT SCHOOL. What the hell...so I think of backup plan bah.
